Who we are

US Marking 10 is a pavement marking contractor based at 5415 N Sheridan Rd, Suite 4009, Chicago, IL 60640. You can reach us on (773) 858-1077 or at info@usmarking10.com. We are the party responsible for the information described on this page.

What we collect, and when

We only collect personal information when you deliberately give it to us. There are three ways that happens.

The quote form. When you request an estimate we collect your name, phone number, email address, the service you selected, and whatever you write in the message field. All five are required to prepare a quote — we do not ask for anything we do not need.

Calling or emailing us. If you contact us directly we will have whatever you choose to tell us, including your contact details and the details of your property.

Server logs. Like any website, our hosting produces technical logs that include IP addresses and request times. We use the IP address for one purpose only: rate-limiting the quote form so it cannot be abused to send bulk email.

What we do not collect

• We do not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
• We do not buy, sell, rent or trade your information. Ever, and to anyone.
• We do not collect payment details through this website. Invoicing happens separately once work is agreed.
• We do not load the Google Map on our contact page until you click to load it, so Google receives nothing about your visit unless you ask for the map.

Why we use it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare and send a quote, arrange a site visit, and carry out work you have agreed to. If you become a customer we will also use your contact details to administer that job — scheduling, access arrangements, invoicing and follow-up.

We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote. If we ever offer a mailing list it will be something you opt into separately.

Who else sees it

Your quote request is delivered to us by email through our email service provider, and our website is served by our hosting provider. Those providers process the information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Beyond that, we share your information only where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

• Quote requests that do not become jobs: kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. People often come back a year or two later, and having the original enquiry saves you repeating yourself.
• Customer records: kept for as long as we need them to service the relationship and to meet accounting and tax obligations.
• Server logs:short-lived, and retained only as long as our hosting provider’s standard retention period.

How to see it, correct it, or have it deleted

Email info@usmarking10.com or call (773) 858-1077 and tell us what you want done. You can ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong;
• delete it entirely.

We will action deletion requests within 30 days, except where we are required to keep a record for accounting or legal reasons — in which case we will tell you what we are keeping and why. There is no charge for any of this.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. The quote form validates and rate-limits submissions on the server, and quote requests are delivered to a monitored company mailbox. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information through the form — it is for arranging a pavement marking quote, and nothing about that requires it.

Children

This is a commercial contracting website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
