US MARKING10

About us

Pavement marking is the cheapest maintenance on the property

US Marking 10 stripes, seals and marks commercial pavement across Chicago and the nearby Illinois suburbs — parking lots, garages and decks, warehouse floors, athletic courts and EV bays.

Our approach

Fix the cause, then the finish

Almost every problem we get called about starts with water. A crack lets water into the base, a Chicago winter freezes it forty times, and what was a hairline becomes a pothole and then a failed section. The work that actually saves money is sealing that crack in the autumn — not resurfacing in three years.

So we look at the surface before we quote the marking. If the asphalt is sound, you get a crack seal, a sealcoat and a fresh layout, and the lot looks new for a fraction of the cost. If the base has gone, we tell you that too, rather than selling you a coating that hides it for one season.

The marking itself is where the detail matters. Stall geometry decides how many cars you actually fit. Access aisle placement decides whether an accessible stall complies. Material choice decides whether a ramp line lasts one winter or five. None of that is visible in a quote total, which is why we itemise it.

What's different

Four things clients tell us they notice

  • We scope down, not up

Plenty of lots we look at need a crack seal and a restripe, not an overlay. We say so. Telling you the cheaper answer is how we end up doing your next five jobs.

  • Standards, not guesswork

Stalls and access aisles come off a measured layout against the ADA Standards for Accessible Design; traffic-control markings follow the MUTCD. We measure rather than eyeball.

  • Your lot stays open

We phase work section by section and take overnight and weekend slots as standard. On most jobs nobody loses a full day of parking.

  • One point of contact

The person who quotes your job is the person you call about it. No handing you to a scheduler who has never seen the site.

How we work

Four steps, no surprises

Free site visit, itemised written quote, phased work, and a walkthrough with you before we leave.

  1. 1

    Free Site Visit

We walk the lot, measure it, and note surface condition, drainage and current stall count.

  2. 2

    Written Quote in 24 Hours

A line-itemised scope and price — materials, stall counts and timeline, with no obligation.

  3. 3

    Scheduled Work

Most jobs start within 3–5 days. We phase the work so sections of your lot stay open.

  4. 4

    Final Walkthrough

We inspect every line with you before we leave, and confirm cure times before you reopen.
